Covella Sponsorship and Grants invigorate the community

At Covella, we are proud to support local grassroots initiatives and those that create lasting partnerships in and around our broader community. We’re delighted to announce the recipients of Covella’s 2024 Sponsorship and Grants Program are the Greenbank Scout Group and Brisbane South Toy Library.

Greenbank Scout Group

The Greenbank Scout Group is recognised as one of Queensland’s largest scout groups, comprising 184 adult and youth members. Its focus is building a community of self-fulfilled individuals who strive to play a constructive role in society. The funding will be used to update equipment to support increased adventurous activity participation safely including radios for communication, a Spot emergency location device, compasses, and a defibrillator.

Brisbane South Toy Library

The Brisbane South Toy Library is a volunteer-run organisation that provides members the opportunity to borrow a selection of toys, games and play material. Play is an important way for a child to learn and develop and Covella is pleased to support the organisation by purchasing five dolls’ houses to loan in the community.

Covella’s Sponsorship and Grants program has been investing in our community now for three years, a testament to fostering lasting connections with local community groups that are important to our residents.
